Suzhou Creek & Jiangxi Middle Road

  • Suzhou Creek: Ride along Suzhou Creek's revitalized riverbank, where old factories and warehouses now bloom into charming promenades, lush mini-gardens, and cozy cafés. Along the way, we'll uncover the city's secrets like a century-old post office and the first riverside apartment
  • Jiangxi Middle Road: Just blocks from the iconic Bund, once Shanghai's Wall Street in early 20th century, this now quiet street offers a retro vibe with New York-style skyscrapers, and is home to the city's oldest church

Old Town & Local Street Food

  • Old Town: This is where Shanghai began - the heart of the city for centuries before the arrival of westerners. Now, it's undergoing a massive transformation. See these historic streets before they're gone forever
  • Street Snacks and Drinks: Established in 1881, this legendary eatery serves authentic local street food. We'll try crispy buns (Shengjian), classic Chinese summer drinks, and other snacks to keep us energized

Fuxing Park & Nanchang Road

  • Fuxing Park: You might feel as if you've stepped into Paris rather than Shanghai! Despite a century of wars and social changes, much of the park has been wonderfully preserved. Here, you can witness lively scenes of locals playing the saxophone, practicing Tai Chi, and performing with Chinese yo-yos
  • Nanchang Road: Stroll down this charming, tree-lined street in the heart of the former French Concession, and admire the exquisite Art Deco architecture
